That's okay then, you may consider it to be so, but I was just giving you a view of how Phantasy Star really is to the whole JRPG market. An underdog is a game that comes out of nowhere from a unknown IP, not from a big name IP.

Some people consider the Crystal Chronicles series from FF to be underdogs as well, but that doesn't make it so, because it sells due to the FF name.

Yep, and if you look on Jneul's thread, I had said that exact thing about WKC ;)

It's not a question of rules or not, you can't argue against popularity of a series. It's the same thing as calling a Call of Duty game or Halo game, the underdogs in japan. Even if they don't have much popularity over there, that doesn't take out from the fact that they are amongst the most popular games worlwide, thus far from being underdogs. 

Edit - And since this is a Japan only list, then Phantasy Star is too far from being an underdog there xD
