Im not jumping to conclusions, just look at the amount of games each of the companies have coming up for the HDs and then tell me how many they have coming up for the Wii, or how many they announced last year for the Wii. I think Nintendo should start releasing as many games as possible, these companies will not support the Wii anymore with good efforts, or abarely at all.

This is just bare speculation, but I do feel like this is what Nintendo's starting to do with 2010 - when we might see them launch major titles for three of their most celebrated franchises in a single year.

I honestly don't take these third-party comments at all seriously. They often derive from an online editor zoning in on a particular sound-bite spoken in the context of a larger interview with a single individual working inside one regional institution which is only a part of a larger, global company. They only have an impact on gaming website forums because of the huge domino effect you get on the internet when one website reports a story, and then another reports the same story, and so on. And besides all that, they are just excusing poor performance on their part in a very easy and often effective way - by passing the buck.

Whether these companies are chipping in a lot or not at all this year, there are a lot of promising third-party titles coming out this year. And Nintendo seems to be going all-out on making this a stand-out year. There's no need to worry.
