I am perhaps late to the party when it comes to threads about FF VS XIII, nonetheless when I saw the trailers AGAIN, I couldn't help but be excited. I am sure many have perhaps impossible to satisfy expectations on this game, but after seeing the tiny trailers I mean how can you not??!?! Based on the people working on this title (KH , Advent Children, etc), I can only imagine a KH type battle system with lots of style (perhaps several QTE's that would make battles look somewhat like AC). 

Please feel free to discuss and throw out expectations, opinions,etc. 

Oh and yea, here are 2 videos I liked, although 1 is mirrored the music is what caught my attention the most since it is truly epic music for a trailer, while the second video I think just has "OMGWTF PWNAGE!!!" written all over it.

trailers are a funny thing.  I hate trailers, and commercials that only show trailers.  Have no idea if the game will eb any good, or even what its like.  I don't know how many trailers i have seen in all pure CG that at best I coudl tell what genre it fit into.  THen have no idea if game any good, any trailer and cg can make a game look amazing.

 

Hell go watch all teh trailers for Dragon Age and then play the game.  They aren'teven IN THE GAME.  not sayign dragon age is bad, its a great game, but if i was a little kid buying a game cause of trailer i woudl be like wtf man, what is this shit.  And based on all the bad press i have been hearing and bitchig of peopel who got ff13 i would not be so excited over some trailers.  especially when its a game like these that are INSANE graphics.  Its a fact, you can't have everything.  everything will involve trade-offs.  TO have amazing graphcis, will mean sacrifising something else.  They don't have unlimited time to do everything.

 

Just look at recent ff13, how many areas where supposedly cut out.  Now dont' go sprouting shit about 360 being reason. t hat is just ignorance.  It's because they NEEEDED this game out, coudlnt' delay it more, it's beeen too long, stock holders are getting antsy so they had to release and due to time they coudlnt' finish all the areas compeltely and have them work into storyand all that because of as i said graphics.  Trade off's, because of the insane graphcis, stuff takes longer, implementing each thing takes more time and then connecting htem all to be fluid they just didn't have time, so they had to cut out things that weren't totally relevant to the story.  Probably main reason so much bitchig abotu how linear the game is, it orriginally was not meant to be so, but due to time and needed game out they had to cut stuff.  which included more of hte sidequests, random areas, and so on tha tweren't completely relevant to story.
