Polarimetric said: Maybe the content was removed because of the X360 port, but it seems to me that it's for the better anyway. Hearing what the content that was cut was going to be -- a zoo? seriously? -- I'd say that SE overdeveloped before I'd say that the 360 held it back. Dedicated FF fans wouldn't mind an FF that was longer than 100 hours, but the average RPG player likely does not want a game with more than 50-70 hours of story and directed gameplay. XV would be out before anyone could even get to the end of XIII. |
It really depends on what was cut. As a hardcore FF fan, I dont mind if the story is 50 or less hours long, thats no problem but I'd like to have lots of sidequests and tons of extra places to explore. If they cut potential "Omega Ruins" and "Necrohol of Nabudises" then it's sad. If they cut out the "Rabanastre Palace" then I couldn't care less. It could all be for DLC though so who knows.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler
