You know, I hate to be defending Microsoft, but we really can't say why content was cut. Some times it's just to help pacing, like how when you buy a DVD there's all those deleted scenes and stuff that the director felt would "slow down the pace" or something.
I'm not saying content cuts has nothing to do with the DVD format, I'm just saying we shouldn't be jumping to conclusions like it's a 100% sure thing. It's a maybe, and let's leave it at that.
