The 90% growth is from last December. NPD had it 732k in December 2008 so a 90% growth would be 1.38 million. Source says it should be around 1.35 million-ish which falls smack in the middle of EEDAR's and Pachter's predictions.
Edit: Actually my mistake. It's slightly below their predictions.
