The SW sales in others show that the PS3 sells more and the Xbox sells just more world wide because it is so far ahead in the US, If they would have equal units sold. PS3 and Xbox360 would move the same amount of software.
And the PS3 will sell under 190k this year most people seem to forget that in the slowest times of the year 190k would be almost 100% up Yoy and this is not gona happen. But I think PS3 will outsell Xbox atleast with 50k.
US Xbox = US PS3+Japan PS3 worst case
EU PS3= atleast 50k more then Xbox.
In good weeks it will be 100k more in bad maybe 40k but per average it will be 75k*40 weeks (September 2010) gap will be at 2.5 Million. And if Natal fails (due to high expectations thats inevitable) PS3 will lead first quarter 2011. If Natal is strong gap (2.5Mln) will decrease much much slower maybe even increase from time to time PS3 will take another couple of months to overtake Xbox360. Maybe a full year.
