Does it even make sense for the game to be any longer let alone twice as long considering how much they said it was?


Was the content they cut even any good?  If so we'll see it in downloadble content. 

 

Stuff gets cut out of games all the time.

3 DVD's. That would be ~27 GB. A DL BR Disc holds 50 GB. Some compression may be required, but a BR disc can probably accomodate twice the game.
