Well Nintendo's concern is also a concern of mine is how immersed can you feel in a game if you have no physical connection to it whatsoever. The controller is the physical medium that ties you to a character in the game. Simply mimicking his moves doesn't necessarily give you the same immersiveness unless your eyes are where his eyes are and then you get the perception of you are in his place.

As for your concern, it's definitely a possibility, but like the Wii, it is more of an issue of personal responsibility than company concern. People should have fun when playing these games but keep safety in mind as well.

I disagree completely. If I can feel more immerse in Twilight Princess with just a little swing that controls Link's sword movement, imagine when I'll be able to control the shield without pressing a button (which has nothing to do with holding a shield movement anyways).

Obviously, Zelda is never coming for the 360, but Oblivion V is probably coming soon!

Well I do see what you are saying but for me it is kinda like air guitaring versus guitar hero/rock band controller.  Obviously none are an accurate representation of actual guitaring, but with the GH/RB controller at least you get a strong feel that you are actually playing a real guitar.  And it is because you feel like you have a guitar in your hand.  While air guitaring you can mimick all the moves you want but there is still no guitar in your hand even if the person on screen is there.  It's actually a good comparison of Wii Music versus Guitar Hero/Rock Band.  However, I must admit that the Wii Music setup was very fun and even a lot more intuitive in some ways as you could mimick an instrument and then have it play, but it wasn't about immersiveness or realism (one of the reasons the core bashed it so much which I still think is wrong).

So for me that's my main concern although I still think it can be a fun setup as Wii Music was.  I just think that if we want to really expand realism in video games, first we need to feel or at least have the perception that we are the character on screen.  Why I'm hoping Virtual Reality will eventually be expanded upon and perfected.
