Sony can get a lot more return for their investment in that sort of market compared to europe where localisation costs time and money. Not to mention many other factors such as having to deal with different distributors and retailers across the different countries. Not saying it's fair but it makes sense financially to focus their efforts in NA for now. |

NA is only slightly bigger than Europe and Europe is almost certainly worth more money. The average price of a game in Europe is 25-50% more expensive, while the PS3 hardware is ~40% more expensive.
