SnowWhitesDrug said: I totaly agree with nintendo screwing up what we call generations. It now no longer means "advancing in graphics" it means what ever a developer wants it to. I hate it to be honest. That one company will go against the tide and muster so many followers. but I am building my bridge to get over it. A thought I just had regarding nintendo HD. The new DSi SUPER GIANT BIG EXTRA LARGE is out now and that features a bigger screen. I'm sure the folks at nintendo are still trying to convince themselves that their SD console looks good on a big HD TV when it frankly doesnt. So given that they have released a new version of the DSi with a bigger screen says to me that we may actually get a HD capable wii that will render the old wii games in HD like the 360 does for original xbox games. Currently the 360 makes xbox games look better then the wii lol. Nintendo wont be making a wii2 for years to come, but after seeing what they are doing on the dsi they might actually release a HD wii, with nothing changed other then the HD part. Do it for the gamers nintendo! you know you want to! take a small proffit hit to give us what we want! Microsoft and Sony do it |
Generation has always been a chronological thing. Devices with disparate graphics have been part of the same generation before (like with the 3DO in the same generation as the N64), but they were part of the same chronological wave of releases of consoles.
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
