I know meant FF12 and not FF3 when you were referring to Matsuno. You partially correct about that. Matsuno was doing FFXII but he kept butting heads with SE over the game and he eventually quit the company before the games completion. That's why FFXII took so long to release and kept getting delayed. So I don't blame him for FFXII. I wish I could have seen his version of the game. I know that he wanted Balthier to be the lead character and as far as I know Vaan and Penelo were added after he quit the game. If I'm not mistaken Matsuno is working with Monolith on the Monado: Beginning of the World for Wii.

I thought Matsuno left the project due to illness. And thats when they started changing everything. Like making Vaan the main Character instead of Balthier etc
