Being an MMO doesn't stop fans wanting FFXIV or including it in the FF series?

I tend to think of FF as Ninty as like most people in gaming can only remember as far back as their playing days which explains why so many here consider FF to be Sony.
I like the way people will say FF is ninty and sony but heaven forbid MS as well. So it is allowed to jump platforms just not onto an MS one.
Maybe Apple should bring out a console and have FF on it then people will say FF should only be Ninty, Sony and MS BUT NOT APPLE!!! Grrr argh.
This clinging to brand loyalty with FF is laughable. People act like they are the ones who own and make the games.
You don't. You just buy them though it seems spend more time complaining on who should be allowed to play them.
Thank god these gamers just play the games, in between complaining about them, and don't make them. Don't need that mentality to seep into the devs themselves.
