Over the holidays, I noticed that Killzone 2 was selling a consistant 17-20k per week since the slim had released.  I was pretty shocked, because it seemed the game was getting no holiday bump at all.

Only it turned out I was wrong.  The game did receive a bump, as its sales plumetted to 9k a week after the holidays ended.  This week it seems sales will be even lower, looking at our North American figures.

Here you'll find a list of the top 50 selling games published by Sony Computer Entertainment in North America for the week ending January 9th:

You'll see that Killzone 2 comes in at #26.  It's being outsold by titles like Resistance 1/2 and Socom: Confrontation on ps3, and even old PSP and PS2 titles like Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters and God of War II are outpacing it.  It only sold ~100 units more than Killzone: Liberation!

Is this real?  Is this possible?  How is this happening?

It makes no sense to me.
