One look at metacritic should tell you all you need to know( i know you wii fans love metacritic). These reviewers are first and foremost gamers and as gamers they for the most part aren't exactly thrilled with wii games.

I don't consider someone who would prefer to play wii fit plus over uncharted 2 a gamer. Do you?

We could use the term "core gamer" if that would make you happy but it's all the same to me.

More - I think I'm probably one of the "core gamers" you refer to. Given the context of our conversation - this website, wherein we catalog our collections and where I could make a standing argument for God Hand being the best action game ever made - would you say this is fair?

Reviewers are simply not representative of a certain segment of gamers. It may be sad, but it's tru, and to pretend that "gamers" prefer the HD twins over the Wii is inherenly fallacious on more than one front.

As to Wii Fit Plus over Uncharted 2? Of course I do. Who am I to say what someone should prefer to play?
