For the people going after Sakaguchi for The Spirits Within need to remember, he was the man behind creating Final Fantasy in the first place. It was his to take chances with.

I'm very passionate about my hatred of "Mr. Wada". He continuously pisses on the fanbase that put the company he controls, to such heights. You can say what you want about how great Final Fantasy was pre PlayStation, but the fact (and numbers) show that Final Fantasy (and Square as a whole) was never stronger than after joining the PlayStation.

I (along with many other people) have waited 5 long years for this game. I was so excited about buying a PS3 and seeing what Square-Enix could do exclusively on my platform of choice. I overlooked the multiplatform announcement, because I was still excited for it. Now I own a pre-owned, ah hell, a used 360. Got it from I worked at a pawn shop. Previous owner only had it a week. Wife bought it from him as a gift, but there was bills to pay and he wanted a PS3 anyways. Anywho, I've tried to like the 360. I really have. But I've spent 50 bucks for Xbox Live's 12 month plan and the damn thing won't go online. I've tried everything under the sun. I've called Microsoft's Customer Service, but they can't help me and since there's no clear solution to the problem and they won't refund my money because I had already used 4 months of the 12. But that's just a rant, moving on.

The dev team PR guy said that no compromises were going to be made. Any other company I wouldn't believe that line, but this was a guy from Square. How could I not believe him?

Under the guidance of Wada he's (I apologize for the next word) fucked the PlayStation gamer way to many times. Star Ocean 4's year long exclusivity on 360, when PlayStation platforms were it's biggest supporters. The Last Remnant and Infinite Undiscovery being exclusive. I'll forgive TLR because it sucked, but I liked IU. I also hate how he's prostituted the Final Fantasy name.

After reading the article earlier today I moved my pre order over to White Knight Chronicles. It may have been delayed almost as many times as FF XIII, but at least they spent that filling the game up with tons of content. Not tearing it apart. I refuse to give Square any money for this game. Which I can barely say.
