So true

Oh well, either way, the PS3 is solving that problem. I predict that we'll have just 5m difference between PS3 and 360 WW by end of Feb.

that doesn't solve the problem at all, it only makes the problem slightly smaller. The 360 will still have a bigger userbase in the west when FF13 launches.
No. People in Japan and Europe buy this game as well. It's an international phenom. You are also forgetting that SE decided that MS would be in this way before the PS3 sliim came out, way before Sony started coming back. Things look a bit different now, if you haven't noticed.
Doesn't need to be that big either, as long as the game sells 1/5 as many copies as the PS3 version it will be worth the investment.
Then, it would be worth it for sony to simply moneyhat a bit more and keep MS out of the picture.

sorry but I disagree.

yeah, and 360 owners in Europe buy this game as well. What are you talking about? The 360 has a bigger userbase than the PS3 does. It is a huge risk to ignore that and assume they can get a similar amount of sales by making it exclusive. You can talk all you want, but it is far less risky to put it out on both systems. The massive investment that Square had to make on this game is a huge part of the reason why they aren't willing to take any risks on it. It is highly unlikely that SE comes out financially worse by making it multi-platform, you're gonna have a hard time making that argument.
