I simply cannot fathom people who say they can buy a high end complete rig for 600$, here in Norway that barely gets you a decent GPU and RAM.

I bought a new computer just last year, 1 month ago. 8000 SEK and it got me a low-high end computer. 8000 SEK translated to USD is about 1150. USD 600 wouldnt last very long here in Sweden, for that price i would get an above average Home PC

Parts must be extremely expensive in Europe then. =\

I just spent 10 minutes grabbing stuff on Newegg, and put a mid-tower with 4 GB DDR2, a tri-core Athlon II and a 5770 together for 537.93$.

Could probably shave off a few more dollars if I spent more time on it, too.

Less the 75$ mail-in rebates.
