LBP isn't a flop, but it isn't really a hit since it didn't meet Sony's expectations.

So does this mean the PSPGo is a hit? Sony says it met their expectations.

Hum. That is an interesting question. I suppose the question becomes when those expectations came about, and what they were based on. I suppose though it should be seen as successful should it be in-line with what was expected.

@Brennan
I am guessing you don't remember how Sony was pushing the IP pre-launch. They even made a statements explaining why it performed lower than it should have. I am not pleased with that statement, but it gets across the basics. I can't imagine anyone is crying over the money they have made though.

I think it is just people picking a choosing what they think is a hit or not.

For LBP people assume it didn't meet expectations even though we have no word on what these expectations were. For that people try to downplay it as not really being a "hit".

In the case of the PSPGo we have word that Sony says it met expectations, but then we have people hop aboard the "Yeah right Sony" bandwagon and declare it a flop.

It is a simple case of picking and choosing what supports their argument. Nothing more than that. I find it amusing.

To sums it all up cherry pickking.
