Better pick up WarioLand: Shake it! I've been seeing it discounted but didn't realize it was discontinued. I should also pick up that new copy of Strikers Charged I've seen at the video store.

Nothing surprising here though. These titles aren't selling.

NPC Pikmin really underperformed. I doubt we'll see NPC Pikmin 2 in NA now. Worries me that such soft sales (even in JP) might derail Pikmin 3.

Where's NPC Mario Golf? That would be an easy 1m for Nintendo.

Rumblings on gaf are that NPC is dead.  After the weak sales of Pikmin, they bundled MP1/2 with MP3 to make the Trilogy rather than releasing them on their own as a last ditch attempt to see if the rereleases could ever put up good numbers.  When that also struggled to be a real success (by Nintendo's standards), they canceled the entire line, hence why we've heard nothing about Pikmin 2, Mario Golf, or any of the other announced NPC line up in over a year.

If true it sucks.  The only rereleases I really wanted were Super Mario Sunshine and the Wind Waker, for the improved performance and 480p.

Both those games had 480p in their original iterations anyway. Most significant GameCube titles did. The only two GC titles i have that don't support it are Sonic Mega Collection and now Tales of Symphonia

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
