I want this game to be good.
So far it looks like the developer has achieved the level of "good if you like that sort of game", not just straight out good. This means they have potential to deliver "good by anyone's standard", they even have the potential to deliver a "GOTY for the genre" nomination. But whether they have the potential to deliver "Guinness book of records for best reviewed game based on a TV cartoon series" goodness is somewhat doubtful; unless that Guinness record bar is currently at a fairly low setting.
I'm not enough of a Transformers fan to be keen on the game if it averages out at a 7.5. But I like Transformers enough that if it gets into the 8's it will be on my list of games to play. My boys will of course want it even if it's a 6.5 game.
