All of those JRPGs releasing on the 360 say otherwise.

Americans like JRPGs too.  Hell, locking up the genre was a major selling point for PS1 & PS2 in the west.

 

Not that Microsoft wasn't making moves towards Japan, they obviously were, but the games they targeted have worldwide appeal.
