I only post because it's interesting Sony still went with that terrible number system. I only ever had to deal with it because a roommate was a jerk one time and decided to set the parental controls on my PS2 and, yeah, arbitrary numbers are confusing.
How many people have even ever looked at their users manual? I guess they forgot the rule when you make something like that you assume the dumbest person in the world is using it.
