Agreeing with this guy, Wipeout HD is incredible.

Uncharted 2 is a given, but don't overlook Uncharted 1, it's really good, also.

As a guy who hates overly anime crap, I still have to say Valkria Chronicles is incredibly good, and the gameplay more than makes up for the aesthetics.

As far as sports games I don't know what to tell you, sorry man.

Playing Uncharted 1 makes me happy how awesome Uncharted 2 is.
