Loading is never long, but it is frequent. You wait three seconds to bring up the menu. You wait three seconds when you find a new item. It's not a huge deal but you do expect better than this in the seventh gen.

Honestly though, how long do we wait in between matches in Uncharted 2 and Modern Warfare 2 online? How long do we wait for Killzone 2 to load every map? If you have the patience for that then the load times in Bayonetta will be nothing more than a slight annoyance.

The framerate is terrible at two points in the game. I think that's the bigger issue.

Well the only loading you experiance in the games you mentioned are at the start of the games. Once the game loads it is non stop action until the timer runs out. With Bayoneta its loading in the middle of gameplay and its very frequent. I don't mind waiting a few minutes at the start of each chapter on any game. Its the constant pauses that ruin it for me.

Anyone who says this game is alright and that the loading times don't bother them, either havn't played the game yet on PS3 or are playing a completely differant game to the one I am playing.

Was this game originally announced as an Xbox 360 exclusive or are some of yous just making excuses for a very bad port. I'm pretty sure a few years back when this game was announced I heard it was multiplat.

The game is better than alright, i find it really enjoyable and the loading times really doesnt bother me as much (after waiting so often playing online games this is nothing).  I own and currently playing the PS3 version and the only load times that occur are when its suppose to load, picking up certain items, and when I enter the menus.  If there's any other random load time inbetween gameplay then thats news to me, as well my PS3 doesnt overheat nor make loud disc noise when playing it for hours, so that could just be more of a console issue for others.
