I wanted to see Mary Jane die! That would have been one of the most beautiful and emotional movie scene ever. |
.............. dude Spiderman is NOT a soap Opra, i mean comic has its few sad moments ( gwen Stacy, Eddy Brock deaths) but its not titanic... |
You certainly don't understand the movies if you think the love story between Peter and Mary Jane is not more important than that.
It's all about it. And it was very well developped.
Some of the things that were said about the movies:
"Not only does Spider-Man provide a good dose of web-swinging fun, but it also has a heart, mainly due to Maguire."
"There are awesome effects, explosive action, wry humour and an emotional heart that pulsates loudly and steadily throughout.
"The film strikes just the right balance between dizzying aerial action (with special effects and high-flying fisticuffs far more heart-stopping than in the original) and grounded human drama."
"Spider-Man 2 is much more a grown-up love story than its predecessor."

Oh...I never read the comics.

That would Xxplain your high enthusiasm for the trilogy... I cant stands the movie version of 90% or the characters, |
But the first two movies were highly praised and considered good adaptations.
