Disagreed. Stuff like Wipeout, God of War, MLB, R&C, etc all made the jump better than anything from the Japan Studio.  Gran Turismo included.

Hots Shots did okay though, but hasn't progressed as far as I'd have liked.  They should've copied Camelot wholesale and made them Golf RPGs on the handheld side.

 

Honestly though, considering how strong it is in their market, the lack of real dedicated development for PSP from Japan Studio (and partners) is shameful.  PSP's a success in the region largely despite Sony's own software efforts, not because of them.  What really drove PSP there was Capcom/MH.
