You're probably right. We might see the occasional game like Wipeout or Motorstorm in 3D which could well be produced knowing it will lose money as an attempt to showcase the PS3's abilities in 3D gaming and generate media attention. Perhaps we can hope for a couple of blockbuster, purpose made 3D games late on this generation once the install base is large enough to justify it and to hook people in to the idea of 3D gaming on the Playstation platform.
