If you know the outcome of an event (the future), can you change it? Let's just suppose that you can change it though. That depends on how you are viewing time and how the 'future' is seen. Many comic characters with those powers (precogs) see visions differently and it's hard to say except to accept that the path you are currently viewing is the one where you take no action, the future that will happen on your current time line. Change something and a new future appears. This is the theory adopted mostly but Marvel Comics to explain this and time travel....somehwat.
