You let the metacritic score of a game define your enjoyment of it?
Oh, and AAA doesn't stand for 90+ on metacritic, it stands for "AAA production values", which FF13 delivers in spades
(Just look at it this way, if 90-100 is AAA, than 80-90 is AA, than 70-80 is A, than 60-70 is... B? 50-60 is C? shouldn't it be F?)
"AAA" games should be defined either by production values, becoming an instant classic or by becoming a "late classic" like Starcraft.
And if you want a true "AAA JRPG experience", try some PS1 classics, you will enjoy them, if you care for stories, far more than any 90+ metacritic JRPGs of this gen.
