I suspect its because Sony aren't as whole heartedly behind their new addition as Microsoft are. Based off their E3 conference last year I would suspect that any real 1st party support coming will be from 2011 onwards so E3 gives them time to get their concepts right for show. I saw the first showing as rushed and they are not as ready for full software support as Microsoft are.
