I like the True Blood type of vampire. Crucifixes, garlic, and holy water do nothing. They can't go into private residences. They can be seen in mirrors. They have super strength and speed and more so with age. The older they are, the more damage sunlight does to them. They can glamor humans. They're subservient to their creators. Their skin burns when it makes contacts with silver. They can only be killed by stakes or overexposure to sunlight. Their blood have medicinal uses, can act similar to Viagra in large doses, act similar to heroine in small doses, and their blood can be used to link Vampires to humans in both body and mind.
I probably forgot a few things or exaggerated a few points but I personally like this to the old Dracula archetype.
Pixel Art can be fun.
