Yes I read it if you are right and its like you say and not like the 3rd party publisher say and its the HD Consoles fault and not the Wiis then i wonder how dumb they actually are and I wonder why they want to destroy their Companys purposly because they know that in the end it they will get their bill.

I never had a company but I would be worried if its possible that it can go the way you explained. I had the impression that companys learned some things the past 50 years. You remember the time the japanese begun to be the kings in electronic the western companys had to learn that if they dont follow the market and stick with their habits they are going bankrupt.

But it seems they havent learned a thing.

Another thing is why they dont lie they can still pretend they invested the money correct. But despite it make new games for the wii.

And why the hell the smaller companys dont invest more money in the wii ? Why because its an untapped market everybody knows there lies the money but there is actually nobody to pick it up.

it could be like you say but it could also be that they are not lying all the time and you just dont have the overview to make a correct estimation about it. How can you know how much money they spend for a PS3 game and a Wii game ? Infact some of the PS3/360 games sell 5 times more then their Wii counterparts. Sometimes even 10times more. That would make up for the costs which are 2-3 times higher.

I studied such things and I know that Companys do sometimes things which can damage them. But infact they recalculate everything. And they are not dumb believe what you want to believe but trust me they have damn good reasons to do what they do.

Why do you think they are suicidal ? You will see they wont go down. Some may take damage some are going to profit is always like this every generation but they will grow the buisness will grow. 

Ok:

HD gaming development is expensive. But its getting cheaper all the time. Every generation step costs money. The companys have to buy new equipment have to learn new things about the hardware have to develop tools. But once the tools are out the equipment payed the employees educated the engines developed. The costs go down massively. because they wont take much more men power to make those games.
HD gaming is expensive but it gets cheaper. They probably make their decisions based on estimations of future years because then the costs will be max 2 times higher. And you probably overestimate the costs for the games. Most games are between 10-20 Million and they break even with 500k-1 Million Copies sold. Wii games cost maybe 5-7,5 million list me the million seller on Wii from the third party developers.


Money is a strong motivator you underestimate its power to companys.

And if some people would have made bad decisions someone would have noticed it pretty quick those people are fired quickly because infact its a battle field u their and people just wait for the oportunity to discover the mistakes of someone.

A single company makes mistakes yes and sometimes stick with them until the end but not ALL of them thats delusional. They have good reasons for it. And they are not ALL wrong thats stupid to think and dont forget HD market is bigger then Sd market and has a higher attach rate. Especially if you subtract all first party titels. Nintendo Wii is not the golden land.


But we will wait how this thing develops.


If you think that they are loosing all together money then list me the games which where doing good on Wii and list me the games you think which didnt break even.
You cant know how they make their internal calculation they will regain the cost pretty quickly for the costs they had which always are there if a new generation of console comes.


I am willing to believe your theory really Its a possibility but I need something some numbers/articles to back this theory up.
