I would say virtually zero advertising for the game is a pretty apparent reason.

I've never once seen an ad for this game.  Who is going to buy something they don't even know exists?

I'd also make the assumption that a lot of the gamers that are new to consoles would like it, considering how well puzzle games do on computers.
