The main reason I went with the vid card i did was the directx 11 support. I haven't had a chance to resaerch if it is really worth it though. I would like the card to last a least 2 years, if not 3-4. And I wanted 8 gigs of ram becuase I like to play video games and browse the internet or work on open office documents at the same time, I wasn't sure if 6 gigs was enough. If it is I would probably downgrade to six, and maybe add more later, I dont think 4 gigs would be enough would it? The cheapest i7 is a hundred dollars more i think, and I dont think i would acutally use its power as the most cpu intensive thing i do i recode movie formats or burn dvds. and I am all for getting a cheaper mobo, I dont really overclock or do anything special per se. Just like to have a nice easy running quick machine. Thank you guys for the input, I dont have time to redo my opening post with new parts from the suggestions but I will tomorrow and look forward to more input
