It's sad how everyone forgets about Bruce Bowen, the most underrated defensive player in the game today

As for Kobe being overrated, that is not true at all...the man can take over the game ANY TIME HE WANTS! That's right...Kobe can rip apart another team whenever he choses to do so and it's funny how people say Lebron is better than him...last year whenever Lebron played against the top tier teams, such as the Celtics, he would score less than 15 points and would struggle a lot...Kobe was consistent in all 82 games...it is true that Lebron means more to his team than Kobe means to his...if Kobe wasn't on the Lakers, the Lakers would still be a sub .500 team, but without Lebron, the Cavs would be one of the worst teams in the league...Kobe's clutch factor is also something that no other player can come close to today...as for being better than Jordan, I don't know yet...Kobe still has a good 4-5 years under his belt and we shall see how he fares in those.

Bruce retired, thats why I didn't mention him. If we are talking about top 10 defenders of all-time Kobe has no effin chance of making it.

LeBron averages 30.2ppg againts Boston for his career.

He averages 27.2 against the Lakers for his career.

He averages 27.7 againts Orlando.

LeBron is also consistent as you can see(against the best).

Kobe is one of the best, no arguing there, but that doesn't mean he can't be overrated.

The guy demanded a trade after having some bad seasons. Garnett had many bad seasons with us, and he never demanded a trade. Hence, you can conclude that Kobe knew he had no chances of winning in L.A. Without Gasol, Kobe would still be MVPless, and championship-less post Shaq era.

Man, I love debating with you about the NBA...

Don't forget that Boston recently became a good team when they picked up the big 3, and the Lakers also became a good team after they got Gasol, so Lebron's ppg average against Boston and L.A is meaningless since those teams were pretty bad for the first few years of Lebron's career...this proves that although he is excellent, sometimes he fails to bring his A game...

As for Kobe's trade demand, I have nothing to argue with you about that, you're absolutely right and it was kinda sad...but hey, at least the guy still played unlike my team's previous franchise player, Vince Carter :P

And yes, Kobe wouldn't be what he is today without Pau Gasol or Phil Jackson, they both helped him get another ring and the MVP trophy, while Lebron got his trophy completely by himself...you might think that this makes Lebron better, but there is one thing that makes Kobe rise above the rest: Clutch

As an NBA analyst said yesterday (forgot his name), when the game is close in the fourth quarter, you know the Lakers would win, because Kobe would make them win...he would take over the entire game because that's just what he does...he is a gamechanger and we haven't seen a player with this kind of clutch skill since Michael Jordan. This, IMO, makes Kobe Bryant in the same class as MJ and much better than Lebron...will Lebron be better than Kobe eventually? Maybe, but there are still a few years left until that happens.

LeBron plays very well againts Boston. Post big 3, or prior to the big 3. Why? You know, The Truth. He has a tendency to fade in games against the lakers though. And as far as Orlando goes, he's a beast againts them.

Kobe is the best offensive player in the game right now, no arguing there. He's clutch. But LeBron can also be clutch. Remember game 2 of the Eastern Confrence finals buzzer last season(the best I've seen personally)? Remember Golden State buzzer last season? Kobe is, of course better at being the clutch go to guy. He's shown it season after season. Like Fisher said, its not amazing when you see Kobe do that. He does so often that it's not amazing.  LeBron is only becoming a better shooter, and I think in due time will become a clutch type level player as Kobe is right now.

But LeBron I would say is the best defensive player in the league as of right now.  Kobe has no chance in hell of becoming as good of a defender as Lebron.

Passing game is LeBron. Don't get me wrong, Kobe is a terrific passer, but not as good as LeBron.

You may also say that Kobe=4, LeBron=0.

Thats where I can't argue, but Fact;LeBron has never had as good of a supporting cast as Kobe has on his championship teams.
