Anyone believe we'll see a new Ninty console in 2012?

But why would Sony make such a future proof console and then release another in such a short space of time especially as their starting to gain momentum. I know their consoles have a 6 year life cycle but they wouldn't have made enough money off the PS3

I was just basing that off the usual 6 year cycle. I guess it would be wise to give it an extra year or two to try and make some money.
