Is there a way to use the xbox360 controller on a ps3?

I recall there was a thing that you you could play with mouse/keyboard and an xbox controller. On an unrelated note, why is it that every time I play CoD4 on the PS3 at a friends house everyone blind fires like crazy? The other team I was playing was mad because they could blindfire kill me with the M16.....
