I never really noticed the hype.. but fair enought it might've been there on different sites throughout the web. But whenever one talks about the game with people who haven't played it they all seem to think its just a tomb raider wannabe, generic, uninteresting and so on. And late adopters usually goes from no expectations whatsoever to being really surprised how good the game is. And all this imo makes it feel as if at first no one really cared about the game. It had what.. opening week of 100k or something.
And so both hype and fans elevated after the game was released due to bundles and word of mouth.
