Avatar is at #85 (but I'm unsure how accurate that is).

 

Isn't that just US box office though. Not worldwide? Either way you do have a point, Avatar isn't as high after inflation.

 

My new years resolution is to not watch the smurf...err, I mean Avatar.

Its #2 on the worldwide chart but it would be damn near impossible to make a worldwide chart which takes inflation into account. Its only #9 or so on the unadjusted US all time chart but when I went to see it yesterday, the theatre was totally packed (in the movies 4th week of release) so it will have very long legs and should at least beat The Dark Knight's gross if not Titanic's.
