Nintendo fund other companies? How about funding their own games? That's the better idea.

I wasn't aware they had a problem funding their own games.  They're one of the biggest game developers who puts pretty much as much money into every game that's needed.

And just for the record, they do help fund other companies projects.  They've been doing it since the NES days.  They just don't go around announcing it.  Perhaps you've heard of games like Eternal Darkness, Rogue Squadron 2, Endless Ocean, Fatal Frame 4, etc.  The problem with this practice on the Wii is, third parties expect a free ride from Nintendo.  They want Nintendo to flip the bill for much of the development, then produce and distribute the game, THEN pay for advertising.  In other words, they just want to make the game and get a large percent of the cut, while Nintendo does all the work.  Nintendo has told them 'we're doing quite well without you, get off your lazy butt'.

Now this doesn't exactly connect back to Little King Story as they tried to make a good game.  But it does tie into many of the other companies, such as EA, Ubisoft, Tecmo, Sega and Capcom who have all pulled this stunt.
