Now compare that to the Smash series with 6.58 million and 5.5 million. That's a pretty big difference in numbers. Also people talking about attachment rates, well pretty much everyone buying a 360 and PS3 right now is a hardcore gamer, the same ones that would be attracted to a game like GTAIV. On the other hand the Wii has a split userbase in which there are millions of casuals. I don't know what to say. I guess some people were expecting Super Mario Galaxy to hit 20 million at some point so I guess stuff like this shouldn't come as a surprise. |
