Buy EA. The company is losing money, and Nintendo could actually put their studios on track (as well as have an actual Dead Space game on the Wii).

I don't think EA is very attractive. And acquiring them would move Nintendo very heavily into the PC market....where they really don't have any desire to compete.

I do think that Capcom and Sega would be excellent acquisitions, however. In the case of Sega, I worry about the talent of their development teams. So long as Nintendo top brass would be able to evaluate their teams and make sure they still have the cream of the crop, then I'm game. Also, would Nintendo be asking Sammy to sell off Sega, or would they want Ninty to purchase the whole shebang? Because I don't see any need for Sammy...just Sega.

That's the main problem: many talented people have left, and Sega is only a shadow of its glorious past... Nintendo doesn't need to buy them, just do some "2nd party" partnerships à la Mario & Sonic is the way to go: you fund one game at a time, and you don't take any risks with the management and the business side of things...

Capcom, on another side, is a very different story: even with the Clover/Platinum guys out, their teams are still awesome. They release only a few games each year, but usually all of them are top quality. Plus it's not that big, and would cost only a fraction of Nintendo's fortune (10%, if the numbers in my head are correct)...

That's why it think it's doable, and also wishable...  :)
