I don't see how 3rd partys could ever ignore the Wii simply because of the massive user base.

all write name me one 3rd party game that sold over a million unit's that is not an established francise.

Carnival Games.

There's one.

all right now how many 3rd partie games are there on the XBOX and PS3 that sold a million.

That's not from an established franchise?

Assassin's Creed.

Lego Indy (shared w/ Wii)

Kung Fu Panda (bundled)

Sega Superstar Tennis (shared w/ Wii)

Left 4 Dead

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (shared w/ Wii)

Bioshock

Mass Effect

Saint's Row

Lost Planet

Dead Rising

Army of Two

Crackdown (bundled w/ Halo 3 demo)

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Borderlands

Prototype

I think that's it. Sixteen, three of which overlap w/ Wii.

With the amount of money, development time, and advertising they put into these games, they better have sold some fuckin millions. Most of those Wii million sellers may suck, but they made somethin out of near nothing.

The only thing Pachter said that I care about is the price. He stated the difference between shovelware and decent content on the Wii is a mere $2 million dollars. He said $3m for shovelware and $5m+ was above "crap". Now, he talks like an idiot so it most likely isn't completely credible, but if that is the case, these teams aren't putting a dime into these Wii games; WAY less money than I thought.

For example Capcom, complaining about RE: Darkside Chronicles.....if they spent THREE times as much as these "decent" games Pachter speaks of (~$5 million) that means they threw in $15 million (highly doubt that with a previous engine in their possession) towards the game. Unless it is overtracked, by my estimations the game will have surpassed that in revenue as of.......January 2nd, at FULL PRICE, for a light-gun shooter.

Where the hell do they get off complaining about the sales for a game like that in less than  TWO months after its release? Unbelievable.

If any company can give me a credible reason why they cannot venture more than $5 million on a Wii game, but yet complain about it and its customers non-stop,I would like to hear that shit. Until then they can stop complaining and making excuses. That risk/unpredictable market crap has no credence.
