Wow, really surprised not many ppl mentioned GoWIII! Am I the only one who saw the HipHop gamer/N'gui-something-or-other video interview of them after playing a portion (all footage/gameplay unseen by the public) of GoWIII? I don't really know much about HipHop gamer, nor do I have much interest in GoWIII, but their reactions in the interview and the things they said actually intrigued me for a game I never had the slightest interest in. The one guy was speechless, and kept fumbling over his words when he tried to respond to questions asked about what he had played. They were going nuts over it, and when they talked about the graphics they were equally as amazed and basically said it is going to, graphically, blow Uncharted 2 out of the water! They also said something like (don't quote me exactly), "if u were a game company releasing a game in 2010, then you should go back to the drawing board." Just bc of GoWIII!!! So bc of this, I am really expecting GoWIII to look pretty amazing.

On a different note, I think Heavy Rain will look incredible from what I've seen. I was blown away when I saw the demo of detective Shelby in the convenience store that gets robbed. It looked so real! And this is even more impressive to me bc I only saw that video on my (5-year old) laptop screen, so I know it's going to look significantly better on my 1080p tv! I know this bc I watched the Uncharted 2 hotel scene (when he's ontop of the hotel with the pool) on my laptop, and wasn't very impressed with the graphics. But my computer just didn't do the graphics justice, bc when I played that scene on my tv/ps3 when I bought the game I was 100% blown away. Never seen anything graphically like Uncharted 2.

On a final note, although I think Alan Wake looks very interesting, I don't think it'll take home best graphics (maybe artistically? like with the neat bullet-time flare moments and such?). I think it looks good from what I've seen, but I just know that I've heard over and over that developers have kind of hit a wall as far as how much they're able to push out of the 360 graphically and performance wise. So I don't think a "best graphics" award will be coming from a 360 exclusive anymore. But then again, by the time AW releases it will have seen a 6-year development cycle, so u never know...
