-ku- said: Scanning through the topic I can say. I thin we can only really start thinking of Mario killers once the nostalgic Mario generation goes away. Long story short Mario is going to be here for a while the best we can hope for is an Insomniac to create a follow up series to Ratchet and Clank |
I would agree if people only flocked to Mario games due to nostalgia. The games are excellent quality and fun to play. They appeal to people of all ages and demographics. As this generation you speak of slowly disappears, newer ones will take their place. How many young ones now are hooked on NSMB and NSMBWii? They'll grow up and continue to buy Mario games if the quality remains consistent. The only "Mario killer" I can think of is a stream of bad quality releases.
