Capcom has stated on a number of occasions that Resident Evil titles sell well on Nintendo systems. Heck, they could even develop a third person shooter for the Wii. There are lots of games that they could make for the Wii that will sell well but their talented developers are focused on the HD systems. Therefore they will continue to Reap what they Sow.

Don't know about Capcom but that is the way the industry is moving. Focusing only on the heavy hitters, dropping the AA titles and new IPs. Expect fewer titles all around.
