Cool but no real information is shared.

How is Sony doing 3D?

frame sequential display and active-shutter glasses + 120 hz feed??
Checkerbaord??
TV built 2d to 3D engine??

We don't know...

Will PS3 do 3D for gaming?
All games? Some games?
We don't know...

When is the Discovery 3D channel coming out?
We don't know...

If I was a sony stock holder I'd want to know these things.

We already know thats a fact, there's already footage on the internet of Wipeout and GT5P being played in 3D. Yea, nothing really new as you said though, but least the future's looking a lot brighter for them than it has been.

Btw, bit random, but I guess you'd know. How much do 3DTVs cost? And whats likely to be the price of Sony's LX900 for example coming out this year?

Today there are no HDTVs available that are using the technology which Sony, Samsung, Toshiba...etc...are showing at CES 2010. Only 22 and 24 inch monitors are available that use 120 hz frame seqential dsiplay which I think is what Sony is doing with their TVs.

These monitors cost from 299 for 22 inch to 500 bucks for 24 inch.

So my guess would be 42 inch LED 3D TV for 1999. they need to get the entry model under 2000.

Prices would come down to 1599 by the end of the year. Its hot new tech...and they will have demand no matter what the price is.
