I don't deny that the gamer that knows his stuff knows the Modern Warfare advertised on TV is MW2.
However the Mum and Dad less in the know that sees a CoD Wii titles while shopping for holydays and vaguely remember hearing about that franchise on TV was probably impacted... BasicallyI think the impact was mainly on those purchasing the title as a gift to others than on those purchasing it for themselves ( because those tend to known more ).
