I won't lie, I can see why some people would say its overrated but to me, its not. Honestly until Uncharted 2, I had friends who never played an MGS game before MGS4 come up to me and say this was one of the greatest games of all time. Of course they watched the GT Retrospective and took a crash course in the universe, something Id recommend outside of playing all the games before it, to be able to fully appreciate MGS4.
